Neil Armstrong, R.I.P.

Neil Armstrong joined the space program in 1962, to achieve one of the greatest honors a man could dream of. That was the first man to step foot on the moon!

You probably have heard it a thousand times "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". These were the words uttered by Neil as he stepped onto the lunar surface in 1969.

Mr. Armstrong left NASA in 1971 to become a teacher of aerospace engineering. He was a modest man who really did not want to be in the spotlight. He just loved space, and loved being a part of a successful voyage. He was superman so to speak. Everyone knew who he was that watched him, but he kept pretty quiet about it all going forward.

Mr. Armstrong died on Saturday at the age of 82 after a failed heart surgery. Another great leaves our world for the next.

May your future explorations be as great as those you have already achieved Mr. Armstrong. Godspeed!
